Sat Sept 11: On the lake at 530 doubles going on the dipsy's at 615 0:8 by 6:30 and lost a tree house and dipsy three flies and green opti enticer. finally figured out what was wrong NO THUMBS ON THE REEL'S, we finished up 4:18. Off of the big river in 65fow. what a mess.
Sun Sept 9: As with many mornings this year it was WHITE HOT!!! out there with the first rain in months to cool it off. The hot set up tree house ran two off the dippers back 131 #3 setting with a ring. heading out at 4:45 we popped triples on the dipsy's, and white on white spin dr. reset came back threw and popped doubles again, and the morning just got better we finished up in front of the big river in 70fow, 2.0 to 2.2 on the GPS was important. Ended up 9:15,
Sat Sept 8: What a morning came out to 4ft + rollers out of the west, very fishable started in 65fow off of Selkirk and popped our first one on the tree house back 131 on the dipsy, then it went south well north west a front came threw slowed everything down and we continued to drop 7 more big guys on the stinger pox, double bubble & mtn dew smart fish, we also donated a yellow NBK to the cause. it was a east west troll from 94 to 50fow that we worked today,
afternoon trip: Started at 4pm in front of the silo in 65 fow heading for 85 off of high rocks, Tree house popped 2 back 275 on a #3. Next was the silver pro chip mirage fly back 22 down 65 over 90.
Fri Sept 7: On the Lake at 5:45 started off of Selkirk in 55 fow, our first fish on a chartreuse spin dr. with a hammer fly back 12 down 35, next fired was the Tree house off the dipsy back 121 on #3 it fired five times, white spin dr. white fly down 44. over all finished up 4:11 also all but two releases were heading north.
Note: I personally have not read of this but due to lack of precip they are going to drop the big river to 100 or less, So far as I can tell the lake fishing is going to be hot for a while and river trips will have to wait!

Tue Sept 4: On the lake at 430pm off Selkirk in 60fow dipsy with the tree house back 135 10lb Coho in 5 min. 30min later 15lb Coho straightened out the hooks twice and broke off another set, as we were pulling lines chartreuse spin dr. with a hammer fly had a big k take hook ran out 250 straighten the hooks and went tootles.
Many road kills on the surface if you want these fish to have a chance you cant put them in the net.
Still No Rain...
Sun Sept 2nd: 63fow off Selkirk chartreuse spin dr. with a hammer fly 1 , double bubble takes 2 Tree house 3 dropped over 12 more what a day started at 5:45am sun was high at 7:30 overall 7`for 18. Oh the war zone what an awesome sickness.
afternoon trip: Clear and sunny 1 for 4 tree house broke the ice at 835pm. south of Selkirk in 55fow
No rain in weeks!!!! Great for lake fishing...no water in the big river... they won't be opening the gates sending our kings up the river, reservoir is over 40 feet low. rumor has it no kings past port Ontario bridge.
In other news I only mowed the lawn once in aug it is brown and dusty. River guys have to be mad.
Sat Sept 1st: worked hard for what we caught many quick releases double bubble was good off the rigger's down 44 over 80 fow war zone in full effect tree house was great 135 on the dipsy #3 Setting. Big oak was 7-14 in 135 off the south dunes blue marlin was his hot lure
Fri Aug 31st: Slow pick north of the river every one is saying green on the radio no real program established starting to hear about j plugs it was rough on board for us lost 4 k's before we could think of getting the net. Same stuff including a white on white spin dr.
Tue Aug 28th: On the fish in 80 fow off of catfish heading out hit double's on the dipsy's tree house and white on white spin dr. just as we boated the first k the copper fired with the double bubble, boated the second all three and they tangled. 15min later we made our turn and picked up a brown on the double bubble, they just kept on firing limited by 10.
Sun Aug 26th: Early Morning blow off hit the lake at 10. 110 off of high rocks we hit some fish lost 4 at the net Capt Dan Takes complete responsibility "Never Loaded The Net" boated two k's green square hammer fly, double bubble, and the new Tree House Lure.
afternoon trip: Lake went to a mill pond dead calm, back on the lake at 3:30pm between the silo and the high rocks in 65-70fow dipsy with the tree house back 156 went three times double bubble down 55 back 22, yellow and green spin dr. back 15 down 45, ended with two k's and three steelies
Sat Aug 25th: From the silo to camp from 100 to 130fow not much action landed two silver's
afternoon trip: first rod in the water was a chartreuse spin dr. with a hammer fly back 25 down 58 over 100. the rod tip hit the water and kept going ran out over 600ft of line we turned chased the fish down 30 min later we boated a 28lb king. had some more on but they were quick release's
Fri Aug 24th: missing the morning log. 2 kings off the high rocks in the pm in 130 fow lost more than we caught, seems to be a pattern forming for the fall copper with double bubble was good. coho and a brown.
Wed Aug 22nd:out early went out to 100fow just north of the Salmon River. morning bite was good anything yellow worked best lure was a chartreuse spin doctor hammer fly.
Mon Aug 20th: Aboard the salmonoid in 300fow center line up. Dipsy's were on fire silver pro troll, green bay packer fly back 375 #2 setting was very good three kings in the box, the bay is full of warm water 53' down 110.
Sun Aug 19th: Morning off the 5 stacks in 275 to 370fow many fish taken we picked but lost to many dipsy and copper were hot... green custom spin doctor back 300ft section of copper kept us alive.
Afternoon: fun group were crawling all over the boat. speed was hard to keep at the ball, many currents in the deep water 225 off of the scriba boat launch seemed to be where the action was, silver pro-troll mirage fly back 18 down 85, green e-chip green crinkle fired twice boated two teen's.
Monday Aug 6th: Started at cat fish in 60 to 90 fow. worked between the silo and catfish all the big guys were there we watched the charter boats strike zone's 1 threw 3 work a pattern which only seemed to work for one of them very social people they are. we took two browns and dropped some more the morning started with a double dropping of them. the one we boated was 203 back on the dips black widow stinger. next fish came on a purple north port nailer. we picked lines at 9 ran to the scriba boat launch 175 fow, picked up middle teens silver mad some more passes but no more luck. great guys and a boat load of fun.
Sunday Aug 5th: Fishing aboard the salmonoid was slow! started at 5am off the big river at 9am we had nothing to show for it. we pulled\lines and ran to cat fish in 60 to 80fow started pickin at browns, nbk's never fail. Budda saw some action off of the water tower just east of the salmon river,
Sat July 28th: Fishing Mikes Marina Tournament 100+ Boats in the tournament, 6 biggest fish are all that matter! Started in 130 fow off of salmon river. We were tipped off to the spot by Bob from water walker (personal boat) and given some critical info from Harry (owner) of Salmon Heaven Lodge. Great guys and good people to have on your side. Big Thank You To both of them.
First two Fish came off the Rigger's white spin doctor hammer fly back 35 down 74. Next fish was off mnt dew spin doctor 22 back white fly. Followed by a dipsy 235 #2 Setting on a plainer board, Then white spin doctor white fly down 94, then a Magnum Lemon ice Stinger back 100 down 88. then back to the dipsy. we never were more than 1/2 mile from our first fish the last was netted at 1:55pm.
We had a great time fishing with Mike, Jake, Tony awesome trip Guys! we had a ball! when it all wrapped up we went 6-12 on silvers the ones we lost "it was all Carl's Fault"
We finished 15th overall.
Fri July 27th: Started in 130 fow off of catfish went out to 200 fow off of Scriba Boat Launch looking for the big guys after two hours of no luck we tried something different short water in front of the silo, we hooked up with our first brown at 9am and it kept going until the last rod we pulled. Same stuff nbk's back 80 down 57.
Thurs July 26th: Big East Blow, Started in 110 fow off of catfish and worked west marked best in 135 fow. Slow very slow morning first release was at 730 but what excitement mag nbk stinger back 80 down 75 fired big brown tail jumping across the back of the boat but when it hit the net it was a 6lb silver with the fish in the net the pole started screaming line. Shaker King on the slider monster brown on main line.

]\Wed July 25th: Same Story as yesterday same place same stuff 4 major's aboard. Not much on the screen or camera sliders did the trick.
Mon July 23: Out on the Salmonoid with Carl and Tim 110-145 fow between high rocks and Scriba boat launch. Action was between 80 and 130 Magnum NBK Stingers back 60 down 80 with stacker Lemon Ice spoons a lot of action on the camera but alot of down time but during the flurries we did two at a time.
Sat July14th: Fishing aboard the Water Walker in the Oswego City Fishing Tournament. During the Tournament radio silence is a must. We started at 5am off of Catfish in 130fow a lot of arc's and bait went 0-3 on line screaming fish during the first light bite, yellow magnum NBK on a down and out 35 feet behind the ball down 77. Finally boated our first silver on a magnum nbk back 80 down 90 12lbs.
Afternoon trip: Ed Dewolf and family very enjoyable boat ride 3hrs 2 releases no fish boated a lot of fun, lake started to blow up out of the west and the rain fell so we came in early. A lot of silver's shooting through the TV screen but no hook ups.
Thurs July 12: On board the Water Walker started fishing at 11am off the high rocks 140 fow a lot of action on sliders 15lb king a lot of lazy fish not breaking the rubber band releases. back at the dock at 2pm.
Sun July 1st: What a day aboard the Salmonoid! We started at 5am off the Silo and worked west to catfish 50 fow to 90 fow our first fish was a 7lb Coho on a monkey puke stinger 3 feet off the bottom, five min later did a 6lb brown down 42 on a nbk back 60 lemon ice stinger fired with another 6lb brown. The wind picked up at 8:30 and the rollers set in, and the fishing just got better did doubles on a blue evil eye and monkey puke stinger. next was a shaker king on a stacker 6 feet above the pretty thing, then the lemon Ice Stinger fired 10 min later we boated the biggin of the day 18.5 on our brass scales what a fish we are waiting for pics of the fish from Tim. When It was all said and done we ended up 9-13.
Sat June 30th: Every Thing off the down riggers Bob From Water Walker limited out 2 guys on board Stinger Pox was his hot lure down 42 and 65 over 70 fow off of the high rocks.
Fri June 29th: Fishing on Water Walker Bad juju on board today, nice weather but a lot weird stuff happened all day radio's and down riggers on the fritz we still had a good day started out deep 200 fow off the high rocks worked our way into 175 big marks down 60 did a nice 13 lb brown on a nbk stinger back 80 down 60, picked up a couple shaker silvers off the radio tower in 140 fow down 70 have to be careful when on plane a lot debris in the lake.
Sun June 24th: Back on our boat Dan & Carl Loc Fishing looking for one big king started in 225 fow off center line and ended up off the high rocks in 80 fow with one 15lb silver and six shaker's gold tux on a four foot slider 45 down was the hot number.
AM Note: Biggins between radio tower and five stacks 3 kings on yellow nbk off the dipsy back 180. Biggest was truly a biggin 27lbs
PM Note: Thinkin Big & Lost Digit were doing well on browns in 60 to 80 off of high rocks
Sat June 23rd: Went out with the green horn Joe Biggins what a fisherman. 6:30pm 10lb silver off of the radio tower in 180fow down 76 on a Magnum sized Lemon NBK 6:45pm Shaker King 7pm another shaker ended 4-5.
Fri June 22nd: wind is blowing hard guys wanted to give it a try anyway. Steady five foot wave's from the west.

Tue June 19th: Off of Cat Fish 45 fow marks down 24 down and out off the otters lemon ice, tux, bitter lemon hot number is back 80 down 10. Football browns 9-17.
Mon June 18th: Out with Bob and Andrea from the boat water walker, awesome morning my down and outs back 250 are on fire lemon ice and black widow did two a piece, speckled stinger did three the big was 9.5 8-15
Have to start somewhere.
